We will be changing our Computer Clinical System at the beginning of May 2025. This will cause disruption in the Practice for a few weeks from Thursday,8th May to Friday, 16th May, 2025 and will involve the following:-

  • Emergency Appointments only
  • Emergency Prescriptions only
  • Emergency Lab Tests only
  • Delay in  Lab Test Results
  • Delay in New Registrations
  • If you have Repeat Prescriptions due around this time we would request that you order your Repeats earlier ie last week in April and we will do our best to get these processed. 

    We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to any of our patients but this decision is beyond our control.

    We appreciate your patience at this time.

RSV Vaccine ( Respiratory Syncytial Virus)

The department of Health have introduced a new RSV vaccination programme.  RSV is a common Respiratory virus that can cause serious lung infections. While RSV infection can occur at any age, the risk and severity of RSV and its complications are increased in older Adults and in neonates and small infants. The RSV Vaccine will be offered as a single dose of RSV Vaccine to the cohort of adults turning 75 from 1st September 2024 up to the day before turning 80 years of age.  We will be sending letters out to these eligible patients to attend for this vaccine towards the end of September 2024.

 Practice Boundary:

To provide the best care for our existing patients, our practice radius to 5.5 miles of the surgery.

We will only accept applications from new patients who live within this radius

Any existing patients who CHANGE address to a new address outside the radius will also be asked to re-register with a GP surgery closer to them.

 

 

Repeat PrescriptionsNice_vlue_pills

Requests for repeat prescriptions are taken by reception staff either in person at the desk or by telephone between 09:30 - 11:30 and 13:30 – 15:00.

Alternatively you can now order online via the link at the top of this page. First-time users are required to complete a simple registration.

Acute prescription requests will be dealt with the doctor on the same day as request.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Symbol Error 3Please allow 48 hours (2 working days) for repeat prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
